Infatuations.

I really do hate my classes this year… 19 credits (24 hours in truth) plus 15 hours of work and trying to go to the gym every day is a 20 hour ordeal… which leaves about 4 hours each night for me to sleep. No wonder I haven’t been to some of my classes.

Meanwhile, I have a little crush to distract myself from all this, plus the company of the Scandinasians and Company.

Party Update: will be having a ubergaybash for my birthday to celebrate the half year anniversary of my comingoutness.

Expect a penis cake/piñata/invitation. ; ]

BACKLOG:

Thailand and Europe. Both of these trips were pretty much some of the most amazing I’ve experienced. Not only did I meet numerous friends, the families that I have developed with people of these two countries will last for an extremely long time, I have a strong feeling. The pictures are posted online; there’s a total of 10 albums for Thailand and 7 for Europe. I had my camera literally everywhere, and i’m really glad I was able to record these two places in all of their glory.

GOAL: I need an iPhone by December, and a car by May. I am now working at Alchemista (Aromatherapy store), and it’s been pretty fun.

Art-time.

Recently, some of my artwork have been displayed in the Joseph Gross Gallery at the U of A. They picked some student artworks, and I was honored to have 2 (!) of my pieces displayed. It was pretty much the bomb. The clown is completely done in charcoal, and the face is a collage of magazine images, color matched to death.

Also posted are the 4 pieces I did, in acrylic, for my final art project. They are of different women using different paint techniques; for more meaning, ask me about it. =]

And this is my art instructor’s own show in the Joseph Gross Gallery, “Women are Dangerous”

Cheers! I’m off to Europe and Thailand, more pix on the way =]

I just finished my homework for the week

KICK ASS!

I finished 3 drawings, 10 pages of physics homework, a trad paper, read my water proposals, and the only thing I have to do are homework for the week that I haven’t received yet. YAY!

Oh, and check the facebook more pictures are up.

I got a new car.

2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid with keyless entry (and power-button engine start), 3 row seats, 14 cup holders, 10 spoke wheels, power everything, backseat AC, maple accents, and backup camera. So cool.

Today’s so boring…

was at Abhi’s house til late, it was his birthday party. I originally talked to Ashwin about planning him a surprise party on the same date, getting a group of people to buy him a Wii. Well he found out about the surprise party, but we still managed to surprise him with a Wii. Well, I guess I’ll have something to play next semester aside from Abhi’s X-box 360. The party was fun, lots of dancing, saw my friend Vince out of nowhere, met some cool people, Indians galore, the whole she-bang. =]

The day before I hung out with some Chandler kiddies, namely Carrie, Michelle, and Bruce. I’ve seen everyone I needed to this winter. It was quite refreshing and I’m ready to go back to school.

Dunno why I’m listening to the Lion King Soundtrack, but it’s pretty neat.

So I think I may not be going back to China this summer. Instead, I may be heading either to London, Paris, or New York for the latter half of the summer after Hungary/Romania and before the Flinn Retreat. Being raised in an urban setting and switching to the suburbs once I got to the United States has made me realize that I am, deep inside, a very non-nature-y and city person. New York is tempting since it is cheaper to fly there, plus I can get lodging for a little cheaper since I know people.

Hee hee, I just saw that my blog’s listed on the Flinn blog. =]

Happy Oh-eight, motherfuckers!

New Years Eve was fun; I was at Jared’s for a tiny bit to say hi, and then i ran over with Stacey, after Benihana’s, to Anjali’s and then Luis’s. Left to go celebrate New Years Eve with the East Side Asians [aka motherland folks] then back to Luis’s for more Indian + Corona + Other people fun.

…I’ve decided to start mine on Christmas. Yay new blog!

photo-288.jpg

Well, important things from last half of the year:

- I bought my fur-sweatshirt. =P
- Got straight-A’s first semester; woohoo, no more math!
- Met some pretty extraordinary people that I call friends.
- Um, Sushi and shopping?
- Photoshoots, karaoke, coffee, and Asian lovefests!
[Oh yeah, and the Flinn]

Okay, so there are a lot more things that made me happy this year, but I won’t go on — I’m boring myself.
